About TeamSeas

TeamSeas is a campaign used to raise $30M to remove 30M pounds of trash from oceans, beaches, and rivers around the globe. Every dollar is equal to one pound of trash that will be collected and removed from Earth’s oceans, rivers, and beaches. Funds given to TeamsSeas are split evenly between two non-profit organizations: The Ocean Cleanup and Ocean Conservancy. With the use of developed technologies like the Interceptor and through extensive scientific research, TeamSeas will work to identify and clean up locations that will have the greatest impact on reducing ocean pollution.

About Our Partnership

Every organization we give to is decided on by the Altrucoin community on our global initiative proposal voting platform, which can be seen here. The Ocean Cleanup was chosen as the winner by the community during our Clean Water Week. We decided to join in on the #teamseas project, and for the next month, we collected funds from our vault partners and the Altrucoin and BankerDoge tokenomics.

The #TeamSeas campaign was launched on October 29th, 2021. Altrucoin was able to support their initiative by giving over $107,000 and help them reach their goal of $30M by January 1, 2022.
